TDXpert is an intelligent configuration tool that enables resellers to
determine compatibility between systems and peripherals at the
touch of a button. Customers can select from lists of characteristics,
such as manufacturer name or processor type, and TDXpert will
display all products that are compatible and eliminate those that
aren't. TDXpert can be utilized to construct any combination -- from
an empty case and motherboard to a complete system. In addition
to complete system configurations, TDXpert is an extensive attribute
search tool. Customers can find products, such as a video adapter
with a specific chipset or a tape drive, to run with a certain operating
system. With its Save feature, TDXpert can help resellers recall
configurations instantly for modifications and enhancements, and its
quote information can be imported into other TD InterAct
commerce tools.
TDXpert V2.02 has an easy to use interface that provides expanded
functionality over earlier versions. And TDXpert's product database
can be kept current by downloading new product files from TD's Web site (www.techdata.com) on a regular basis. TDXpert customer level
prices can be updated daily by downloading price files from TD's Web site or from TDonline.

This version of TDXpert has a user interface created for a
Windows 95 environment. As you use TDXpert, take advantage of

-- TDXpert customer level price and availability updates can now be executed while you are in the TDXpert application. Just download your latest price files from TD's Web site (www.techdata.com) or from TDonline each day and choose "Update Availability and Price" from the Options menu in TDXpert.
-- Hardware Configurations - Hardware items in Tech DataΓÇÖs inventory can be configured.
-- Save/Retrieve Configurations - TDXpert can be used as an asset management tool, enabling resellers to store multiple configuration files. When customers need to upgrade or enhance their systems, TDXpert can recall their stored configurations, check compatibility of enhancements and issue a prequote in minutes.
-- Export Prequote Information - Configurations can be exported from TDXpert to other TD InterAct solutions. Configurations can be imported into TDonCD to create a formal quote with customized headers and pricing and it can be imported into TD On-line Version 2.3 to create instant purchase orders.
-- Network Installable Version - TDXpert can be installed and accessed from a network server with a few setup modifications.

computer reseller business and only in accordance with this license.

copy any of the software or the database, (b) distribute, rent,
sublicense or otherwise transfer or disclose, or transmit any of the
software or the database electronically, to any person or entity, (c)
modify, translate, merge or prepare derivative works from the
software or the database, or (d) use any of the software or the
database for service bureau or other purposes not specified in this
License.
Software. The software includes all concepts, user and program
interfaces and structures, functionality, computer code and other
technology inherent in the accompanying computer software
program and all copies of the software. You may make and maintain
one copy of the software per employee making authorized use of the
software. YOU MAY NOT decompile, disassemble, probe, or
otherwise reverse engineer the software.
Database. The database includes all information accessible from
Tech Data or third parties through the software, which may include,
but is not limited to, data structures, technical and other
specifications, pricing, advice and other data or information. All data
and other information available on the database or through the
software is proprietary, confidential and the sole property of Tech
Data or third parties which license Tech Data. Such data and other
information can only be used as stated in this license.
TDXpert contains certain software and databases which are
licensed to Tech Data for redistribution by third parties. Some of
these products contain separate license agreements and copyright
notices to which you should refer prior to the use of such products.
DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY; LIMITATION OF REMEDIES
Tech Data and its suppliers are licensing the accompanying software
program ΓÇ£AS IS.ΓÇ¥ You acknowledge that this program is licensed
for use by you as a convenience for you in communicating with Tech

About This Release of TDXpert
The technical database in TDXpert is static data. It was created
March 1998. We enable TDXpert users to update customer
price, availability and product status on a daily basis. We also
enable TDXpert users to obtain full technical product updates
regular basis by placing the current product files and new TDXpert
versions on TD's Web site (www.techdata.com).
For TDXpert Configuration information, Tech Data relies on vendor
specification documents. Although Tech Data will correct known
vendor specification errors, we do not bench test configurations and
make no warranty expressed or implied with respect to the accuracy
of TDXpert technical information.
While efforts have also been made to ensure the accuracy of all
product and pricing information contained on TDonCD, Tech Data
makes no warranty, express or implied, with respect to the accuracy
of information contained on TDonCD, including pricing, promotions
and technical product information. All warranties, including the
warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are
